Will There Ever Be Peace On Earth?

Dave Gregg: Will there be peace on Earth? It seems that no matter how much inner and outer work we do towards this endeavour, there is always someone who is willing to step forward from the crowd and unleash more carnage. Is the concept of ‘peace on earth’ just an errant wish for the foolhardy and impractical, or is there indeed a realistic series of steps that might one day bring this dream into fruition?
OMNI: Greetings beloved ones. Let us first say to you that if your inner work was complete, then you would not witness the carnage you speak of and if you were witness to it, you would simple be an observer in compassion.
Peace begins with the individual, it begins with you. So many of you who are spiritual seekers seek spirit from a position of lack. You seek spirit because you see the world as ‘dark’ and ‘wrong’. You have decided that the world is not a spiritual place, but a bad and misguided place, a place that is to be left as soon as one can. Many of your spiritual leaders have told you that either the flesh is to be denied or that you must forsake all things in order to follow them into the riches of heaven or Nirvana. Some have told you even that the nature of the human is to suffer and that you must again forsake all things and pay back debts in order to be released from the wheel or karma.
It is from this misguided perspective that many of you ask such questions. The real question is “How can I be free of all this misery and suffering. I have done so much work on myself, and yet I still only see pain and suffering around me”. Our answer to you is this: what is your level of acceptance? How deep is your love? How encompassing is your heart?
The measure of your spiritual growth is you ability to love. There is not other measure. No method, no technique, no knowledge can give you this. Only your will and desire to love. And what is love? It is the complete and total acceptance of what is, and acceptance begins with you.
When you focus on misery, which is what you in your turn add to the world. You are telepathic beings and each of you is connected to the other at all times. What you think adds to the melting pot of human thoughts. As you go about your business from the point of view that the world is ‘un-kind’ or ‘un-godly’, you begin to vibrate at the same rate as ‘unkind’ and ‘ungodly’. The universe is a place of energy, of vibration, and all energy is molded by thought, all of it. As you think of the things that you do not wish to have, you begin to vibrate at the same rate. In other words, you become that which you think you despise. To despise is to imitate. As you despise and hate and reject all that you see, you align your energies with those things, simply because your thoughts are upon them.
Let us return to the spiritual path. Your goal in this lifetime is to move, as creator, to a point of total and complete acceptance. As you are in a state of acceptance, you merge with the source, and therefore all of creation, and creative power, is at your fingertips. As this occurs, your desire to create for personal gratification ceases, for the personality is then merged with that which is greater than itself. However, conscious creation is part of the path of getting to the point where this level of creation, or manifesting, is no longer necessary, or even needed. Conscious creation teaches you that you are God. As you move into acceptance, you know in your heart of hearts, in the deepest part of your being, that all beings are spiritual beings and that all is well. This is the point of compassion, when you can stand back and say “I accept them, for they know not what they do”.
Your greatest contribution to humanity, to the evolution of your planet and all of her peoples is to move into acceptance – this will anchor the Christ, the energies of the World Teacher in your body and soul and you will become a receptacle for those transformative energies. The return of the Christ is not just an individual that will step forth as a leader and teacher, but it is the descent of a very high aspect of God into the minds and hearts of men and women. For you to be an open receptacle for this level of consciousness, you need to be in a place of acceptance and compassion for the world. So many of you confuse compassion for ‘feeling sorry for’, which is arrogance in disguise. Compassion is about honoring every soul and every human being for their path and understanding that your way is not the only way, there are many paths that lead to heaven, many that lead to nirvana and ascension. Ascension is a state of mind, it is not a place.
So what is your state of mind? Is it that the world is an ugly place? If so, then your state of mind is ugly, and that becomes your net contribution to the world, ugliness. “Yes but” we hear you cry, “how can we ignore that which occurs around us” and we say this to you: acceptance is not ignoring something. Help the poor, help the bereaved, and help the needy and lost ones amongst you. However, know that they too are God, know that another fed you when you were hungry and that another clothed you when you were naked. Every time you move forward, there is always another in front, just as there are others behind. Honor each person and their path, just as you honor and accept where you have been and are at the moment.
Will there be peace on Earth? Only you can answer that question. Peace starts with you. Have you forgiven your brother? Have you accepted your mother? Your sister, your uncle? Your school teachers? When you have forgiven everyone for everything, and accepted everyone for who they are, including yourself, then there will be peace. So when do you want peace on Earth my beloved friend? When? It is all up to you. Namaste.
