Alternative Health is a broad term for any method of healing that stands outside the framework of conventional, mainstream medicine. Alternative medicine embraces a variety of therapeutic or preventive health care practices, such as homeopathy, naturopathy, chiropractic, and herbal medicine, that do not follow generally accepted medical methods and may not always have a scientific explanation for their effectiveness. The approach often helps to balance mind, body, and soul.


Astrology

Astrology refers to any of several systems of understanding, interpreting and organizing knowledge about reality and human existence. It's based on the relative positions and movement of various celestial bodies, chiefly the Sun, Moon, planets, and lunar nodes as seen at the time and place of a birth or other event being studied. Astrology can also be viewed as a cultural system of symbolism for talking about matters of the mind and personality in western culture. It has roots in alchemical and Hermetic tradition which were very influential until the 17th century.
